Grove Printing

At Grove Printing Corporation, we have built a reputation for providing high-quality printing services to our customers for over 80 years. Founded in 1935 by William W. Grove, our company has a long history of delivering excellent printing solutions to our customers. From our humble beginnings as a letterpress shop on Wisconsin Avenue in Washington DC to our current location in Baltimore, Maryland, we have grown and expanded our services to meet the evolving needs of our customers.

Our History

Our story began in 1935 when William W. Grove started a letterpress shop on Wisconsin Avenue in Washington DC. Over the years, our company has undergone significant changes and expansions. In 1969, Doris Braswell joined our team as a bookkeeper and eventually became the president of the company in 1973. Under her leadership, we modernized our shop with the purchase of offset printing presses and expanded our social invitation and small commercial printing business.

Leadership and Expansion

In 1977, Doris Braswell purchased the company from William W. Grove's daughter after his passing. She continued to lead the company, introducing new equipment and technology to improve our services. In 1999, we acquired a full-color offset press, allowing us to better serve our growing customer base.

New Leadership and Growth

In 2001, Doris Braswell retired, and Steve Braswell took over as the leader of our company. Under his leadership, we continued to expand our services, including our postcard and flyer business. In 2021, Steve sold our company to Creative Print Group and we relocated to Baltimore, Maryland.
