Seattle Print Arts is a vibrant community of printmakers, artists, and enthusiasts dedicated to fostering the art of printmaking through education, fellowship, and accessibility. We cultivate a welcoming space where traditional and contemporary printmaking techniques thrive, encouraging experimentation and innovative approaches.
Our mission is to:

Our Programs and Services
Seattle Print Arts offers a diverse range of programs and services for print enthusiasts of all ages and experience levels.
Fellowships and Grants
- Larry Sommers Art Fellowship: Supports artistic excellence in printmaking, book arts, and paper-related projects.
- Pratt/SPA Partner Grant: Provides funding for printmaking classes, workshops, and supply fees.
- Kristen T Ramirez Fellowship: Supports Latinx printmakers in realizing their artistic visions.
Community Engagement
- Annual Print Exchange: Artists submit prints, and randomly selected portfolios are exchanged.
- Black & Indigenous People's Residency: Provides opportunities for Black and Indigenous artists to create print-based artworks.
- Drawing The Line Series: Regular gatherings for open discussion about pressing issues through the lens of printmaking.
