Our Story

At Unique Litho, we are proud to have been serving the Denver metro area and all of Colorado for almost 40 years. Our journey began in 1985 when Jay Hartway and his parents purchased Unique Reproductions, a blueprint company that primarily served the oil and gas industry and architectural clients. However, when the oil and gas industry in Colorado experienced a significant downturn, Unique Litho had to adapt and find new opportunities for growth.

Our Evolution

In the early 1990s, Unique Litho decided to pivot its business by investing in printing presses and bindery equipment to become a full-service print company. This decision allowed us to capitalize on the demand for high-quality printing services and positions us as a leader in the Colorado print and mail services industry.

Our Commitment to the Environment

As a responsible business, we recognized the significant environmental impact of the print industry and made it our mission to find more eco-friendly methods and practices. In 2009, Unique Litho became the first print company in Colorado to achieve Gold Level status in the state's Environmental Leadership Program. We continue to partner with PrintReleaf, a nonprofit organization that plants trees to offset paper consumption. To date, we have helped plant thousands of trees directly proportional to our clients' paper consumption.

Our Expansion

In 2020, Unique Litho joined forces with Ascend Novus, another Colorado company, to further expand our capabilities and services. Jay Hartway remains with the company, ensuring that our commitment to quality, customer service, and environmental responsibility continues to shine through.
